The British Allied Trades Federation is an approved End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), delivering high-quality, independent End Point Assessments that ensure apprentices meet the required standards to achieve their qualifications.

Our End Point Assessments
Level 2 Retailer:
This apprenticeship is for sales assistants, retail assistants and retails sales advisors who advise on and sell products and services in a customer-centric retail environment. This includes creating an accessible and well-presented environment and advising customers on stock, products, different ways customers of shopping and various payment methods.

Level 3 Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Trades End Point Assessment
The BATF delivers the End Point Assessment for the Level 3 Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Trades Apprenticeship, supporting apprentices at the final stage of their programme.
Our assessments are designed to be:
- Fair, consistent, and industry-led
- Delivered by experienced, sector-aware assessors
- Fully aligned with the approved apprenticeship standard
Assessment Components
The End Point Assessment consists of the following components, in line with the approved standard:
- Observation
- Project, Plan and Questions
- Professional Discussion
Fees
We currently charge the following fees for end point assessment.
• L2 Retailer - £720
• L3 Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Trades - £2,400
- Observation (re-sit/re-take) - £600
- Project, Plan and Questions (re-sit/ re-take) - £600
- Professional Discussion (re-sit/re-take) - £550
